The Attorneys General for the states of Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana,
Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Texas have filed this brief [CLICK HERE and HERE] for the purposes of stopping the disgustingly unfair act all the LCs seem to be doing to all Norvergence victims, suing them in another state. *** UPDATE*** CA has joined the Curiae CLICK HERE

From the first case, we all knew what scum we were dealing with when the lawsuits came in, even if we were current with our bills to them. On top of that kind of masticating farm animal's excrement, they have almost always filed the suit in a state other than the defendant's, in some cases, even other than their own. So hopefully this will stop the blatant attempt at summary judgments that are 'all the fashion' with these humps.

On a personal note: To all the Leasing Companies that peruse my pages in search of clues as to the next move in this game, let me clarify for you the precarious nature of the quandary you find yourselves in. Both you and the protagonist of this epic of fraud that has been proctologized to us have severely underestimated the client base you all so elegantly targeted. Apparently, you believe that we all undereducated simpletons, reeling from the blows that have befallen us by your legal departments and law firms, quivering with trepidation as we try to fathom the true nature of what has transpired. You have not fooled anyone, least of all the mensa members of these victims that have dedicated thier time and money to exposing you all for what you have done, and to ensure that this perpetration of runaway greed and fraud never happens to another small business in this country. I can't speak for my fellow victims, but I am incredibly tired of having my intelligence insulted by you people.

More than 11,000 small businesses have each lost countless thousands of dollars already due to this fraud, how many more people will you try to hurt until you seek justice where the guilt lies? To date, my firm has lost a total of $78,000.00 in lost revenue, legal fees, time, and so forth. I am sure many others have lost the same or more. We will not stand idly by while you intimidate good hard working Americans into paying for services they will never receive, no matter how pretty a package you try to make it in court. Nor will we allow your unfounded lawsuits served to the business owner that pays his bill on time, and yet has to drink his coffee with his heart in his throat reading a legal document telling him he is being dragged into a courtroom 800 miles from his business, the original scene of the crime.

Small business is the driving force behind our economy and the only glue left holding our society together. In the long run, I believe history will show that this atrocity will have lasting negative impacts on the economy as a whole, when considering all of the factors involved at the local, state and federal levels. The amount of resources being wasted could be better spent improving our businesses and trying to make 2005 a better year than the last. Ah, to dream.
