At Fight the Scam we try our best to only report the news regarding the Norvergence scandal, attempting to be as impartial as possible. This is sometimes challenging and at other times outright impossible due to the fact that FTS is a Norvergence victim as well as the rest of you out there. But it has come to our attention that some other journalists are not only playing both sides of the fence between leasing companies and victims, but at times even spreading dis-information. The reasons given for these mis-quotes, unsanctioned releases of sensitive stories and outright falsifications range from a self proclaimed ''zeal', to a simple "I didn't know". This open letter from Rhonda Shearer to Kit Menkin should be taken as a warning to all: Be careful who you trust in this scandal; there are many who would like to see us all fail. openletter.doc
